Springboard Accelerator is a range of enhanced business acceleration services designed to support and facilitate new and established Tasmanian businesses that are innovative, export focused and science and technology related.
Springboard Accelerator is an initiative of the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts and is administered by In-tellinc.
Springboard Accelerator services are available to businesses throughout Tasmania regardless of location, and deliver the latest resources, business knowledge and technical support to help innovative businesses grow and develop.
Springboard Accelerator aims to:
- assist early stage science and technology firms to rapidly reach their full potential;
- improve the rate and success of commercialisation of R&D in Tasmania; and,
- assist in identifying national and international gateways and channels for companies participating in the program.
Depending on the level of services required, successful applicants to the program will have access to shared business services and equipment, technology and support services, rental space and flexible leases, as well as assistance in obtaining the financing necessary for company growth. Springboard Accelerator offers a wide range of services and is based at the Tasmanian Technopark in Dowsing Point but offers virtual acceleration for businesses located elsewhere in Tasmania.

300K Enterprises is a research and design company with a strong background in the mining industry. Springboard assisted 300K Enterprises with the development of business and marketing plans, marketing collateral (such as brochures and banners) and the development of a website. www.300k.com.au
Specialised Vehicle Solutions design and manufacture vehicles for the underground mining industry. Springboard undertook market research to gain a strong understanding of SVS’s target markets, assisted with the development and implementation of their marketing plan, provided mentoring and business coaching assistance and helped with the submission of grant applications. www.svs-group.com.au
